Hand-picked Utah County happenings, straight to your inbox. No fluff, no spam, easy to leave.
Search "social media agency provo" and a lot of what comes up is agencies in Houston or Florida with a Provo page on their site. Every firm below has an office in Utah County that we found on its own website and on a second listing, and we say whether it posts to your Instagram, runs your Facebook ads, or makes the videos that go into them.
For a Utah County small business that wants someone to post and run ads, start with Set Fire Creative in Orem or REVITY in American Fork. If you only want Facebook and Instagram ads managed, 8020 Digital in Pleasant Grove posts its fees, from $500 a month. Avalaunch Media and Big Leap in Lehi suit a bigger content calendar, and Chamber Media in American Fork is for brands ready to spend $5,000 to $10,000 a month on video ads and management.
Set Fire Creative works out of an office park on 1350 West in Orem, and social media is the biggest part of what it does: its Clutch profile puts it at half the work, with Google Ads and SEO splitting the rest. Its social page sells two separate things. One is the organic side, where they help you settle on how your business sounds and then post in that voice across your accounts. The other is paid social, meaning ads and boosted posts. The testimonials on its site come from a salon, an insurance agent and a first-time author, which tells you the size of client it is used to. No prices are posted, and the first step is a free strategy call.
REVITY is on 820 East in American Fork and lists Social Management and Paid Social as two services on its homepage, next to SEO, Google Ads and email. The industries it names are ecommerce, healthcare, home services, professional services and B2B, and it has a separate page for restoration and emergency companies. The reviews on its site come from a car dealership, a chiropractor, a plumber and a golf business. If you run a water damage or HVAC company in Lehi or Spanish Fork, it already knows how your customers search. Pricing is by quote after a free audit.
8020 Digital is in Pleasant Grove and is mostly an ad shop. Clutch puts its work at about two thirds pay-per-click and a quarter social media, and its homepage describes paid social as Facebook and Instagram ads that find new customers and bring in leads. It does not sell organic posting. What sets it apart is the pricing page: plans run $500, $750, $1,350 and $2,000 or more a month with no setup fee, and the homepage says agreements are month to month. The pricing page does not say which plan covers social ads, so ask before you pick one. It says it works with small, local and mid-market businesses.
Avalaunch Media's headquarters is on Maple Loop Drive in Lehi, and it also lists an office in San Francisco. Its social media page covers strategy, content creation including graphics, captions and video, a month-by-month content calendar, running your channels, and finding influencers to work with. It is a full-service shop, so the same team can also run your ads, SEO, email and PR. That helps if you want your Instagram posts and your Google Ads to say the same thing in the same month. No prices are listed on the page.
PetersenWest is a branding and design studio on Mountainway Drive in Orem. Its social work is copywriting, strategy, content creation and animation, and it sits next to logo design, websites, video and photo shoots, packaging and signage. The team page lists a social media and marketing specialist. Hire it when the problem is that your posts look like five different companies made them. It can build the brand guide, shoot the photos and then make the first few months of posts from them. It is less of a fit if you just need someone to run ads every day.
Big Leap is on Thanksgiving Way in Lehi and is an SEO company first: its Clutch profile shows SEO and paid search as its service lines. It still has a full Utah social media page, and the list on it is specific. It sets up and cleans up your profiles, plans a social calendar, writes and designs the posts, schedules them, reaches out to influencers, and sends reports and dashboards. Paid social ads are sold as a separate service. If you already rank in Google with Big Leap, adding social there keeps one account manager and one report.
Chamber Media is on Automall Drive in American Fork, and it makes the ads as well as running them. Half its work on Clutch is video production. It shoots short and long video ads and static ads, then buys the media on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google and connected TV. Its site is plain about the floor: expect around $5,000 to $10,000 a month between creative, strategy and management. It also says growth is hard if a local brand spends less than $5,000 a month on ads. Contracts are month to month, and campaigns run in your own ad accounts, so you keep the data if you leave. A boutique in Orem is too small for it. An ecommerce brand selling across the country is the client it was built for.
We started from the firms that rank for "social media marketing agency utah" and "social media agency provo" and the Utah County names on Clutch and Expertise. Then we opened each firm's own website and looked for a street address or a stated office in a Utah County city, and matched it against a second listing. A lot of names fell out. One Provo agency's domain now goes to a parked page. Several firms list Utah County on a directory but give no address on their own site. One Lindon firm turned out to sell reputation and PR work, not social media. Agencies from other states with a Provo landing page were never in the running.
The order is our call on fit for a Utah County business with one to a few locations, not size. Nobody paid to be here, and Provo FOMO is not on the list. We sell ads in our newsletter, which you can see on our advertising page, and we do not manage anyone's social accounts. If you want a firm that does SEO, websites and social together, our list of marketing agencies in Utah County covers the full-service shops.
"Posts for you" means someone at the firm writes, designs and schedules your organic posts. "Runs ads" means they set up and manage paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. The terms column only shows what the firm's own site says.

Most owners who call an agency about "social media" mean one of two things, and they cost different amounts. The first is someone to keep your Instagram and Facebook pages alive: three or four posts a week, photos of the new menu item, a Reel from the job site, replies to comments. The second is paid ads: a $30 a day campaign that puts your spring cleanup offer in front of homeowners in Highland and Alpine who have never heard of you.
Posting keeps the people who already follow you from forgetting you, and it is what a new customer sees when they check you out after a referral. Ads are what bring in strangers. A restaurant on Center Street in Provo can do fine with good posting and no ads. A new roofing company in Saratoga Springs will wait a long time if all it does is post. Decide which one you are buying before the first call, because the list above splits along that line. 8020 Digital only runs ads. PetersenWest mostly makes the content. Set Fire Creative, REVITY, Avalaunch and Big Leap do both.
Only two firms on this list put numbers on their sites. 8020 Digital's plans are $500, $750, $1,350 and $2,000 or more a month, with no setup fee. Chamber Media says to plan on about $5,000 to $10,000 a month between ad creative, strategy and management, and it says a local brand spending less than $5,000 a month on the ads themselves will struggle to grow. Everyone else quotes after a call.
Keep the two costs apart when you compare quotes. The agency's fee pays for their time. The ad budget goes straight to Meta or TikTok, and you should see it on your own card or your own ad account, not buried in the agency's invoice. A quote that rolls both into one number makes it hard to tell what the work cost you. For more on what Utah firms charge across SEO, ads and social, see our guide to marketing agency costs in Utah.
This is the question that causes the most trouble later. Your Facebook page, your Instagram account, your Meta ad account and the pixel on your website should all belong to your business. The agency gets added as a partner or a user, and you remove them when you part ways. Chamber Media says on its site that campaigns run from the client's own ad accounts, and that is how it should work with every firm here.
Before you sign, ask each firm these questions and write down the answers.
A lot of Utah County owners are not ready for $1,000 or more a month. You can do the basics yourself in an hour a week. Take a photo every workday of something real, like a finished job, a customer at the counter, or the walk-in fridge after the delivery. Post three of them a week. Answer every comment the same day. Our free AI 101 class shows owners how to use ChatGPT to write captions and plan a month of posts in one sitting.
Social media is also not the only way to reach people here. A listing in the Provo FOMO Local Directory costs $99 a month, and one ad in the Provo FOMO newsletter costs $99 and goes to about 3,100 Utah County readers. We sell both, so weigh that. Our guide to where to advertise in Utah County compares them with billboards, radio and KSL Classifieds.
