The farmers market is back, the falls are running, and Stadium of Fire tickets just dropped
Plus a brand-new Peruvian spot in Provo, the lakeside parks that just opened in Vineyard, and our pick for the best treat in the Valley.
Summer's officially landed — school's out, the canyons are green, and the weekend calendar is starting to fill up. We did the digging so you don't have to.
Here's what's actually worth your time the next few days.
The Provo Farmers Market is back for the season
Pioneer Park's Provo Farmers Market opens for the season this Saturday and runs Saturday mornings through late September — local produce, baked goods, food trucks, makers, and music in the park.
Why we're leading with it: it's free, it's downtown, and it's the easiest good morning you can hand a family all summer. Go early — both parking and shade get scarce after about 10:30.

A new Peruvian spot in Provo from owner Victor Castro, serving dishes like lomo saltado, tacu tacu, and jalea mixta. A genuinely different option when you're tired of the usual rotation.
Utah City's Berliner Park (a balloon-themed playground) and the adjoining Greenline Waterfront Park are open on Utah Lake's east shore, with an all-abilities play area added this year. Worth a look if you haven't seen how fast Vineyard's lakefront is filling in.
Battle Creek Falls, Pleasant Grove
A short, shaded hike (about a mile round-trip) to a waterfall running strong with June snowmelt — easy enough for kids, pretty enough to feel like a real outing. Go early for cooler air and a parking spot.
Trailhead at the east end of 200 S, Pleasant Grove · Free · Heads-up: the main trailhead lot is under construction into late June, so you may park lower and walk a bit farther.
